Types of Counseling

Honey for Your Soul Ministries’ discipleship counseling is Christ-centered and Biblically-based. I hold fast to the exchanged life truths found in God’s Word and disciple clients in understanding the need of exchanging self-sufficiency (self-life) for Christ’s sufficiency (Christ’s life). One of the ministry’s key scripture verses is Galatians 2:20.

“I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh [physical body] I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (NASB)

During your time at Honey for Your Soul, you will learn how the truth of God’s Word can set you free and, enable you to conform to the image of God as you walk by faith in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, NOT THE COUNSELOR, is the agent of change. With guidance from the counselor and the Holy Spirit, you can discover freedom and live an abundant life in Christ.
